By car:
The A206 Plumstead Road runs adjacent to the Royal Arsenal. Follow signs for the Fire Power museum and The Royal Arsenal, then turn left off Plumstead Road into Arsenal Way.  The A206 Plumstead Road gives direct links via the Blackwall Tunnel to north of the Thames and to Central London. The A205/208 runs south from Woolwich providing access to the A2 and the M25.  Enter the postcode SE18 6SS into your satnav.

By train:
High frequency rail services run to and from Woolwich Arsenal train station and London Bridge, Cannon Street and Charing Cross.   Take a train towards Dartford via Greenwich or Gillingham via Greenwich and get off at Woolwich Arsenal.  The treatment rooms are a 5-10 minute walk from the train station.  

By DLR:
Woolwich Arsenal DLR station opened in January 2009 and is located only 300 metres from Royal Arsenal Riverside.  Trains run at least every ten minutes to and from Woolwich Arsenal.

The Woolwich Arsenal extension serves all stations on the London City Airport route (City Airport 6 minutes) and Canning Town, the latter providing connections to Canary Wharf (20 minutes), Bank (28 minutes) and to the Jubilee Line for London Bridge and the West End.   The treatment rooms are a 5-10 minute walk from the train station.    Click here for the Transport for London journey planner.

By tube:
Jubilee Line services operate from Green Park and London Bridge to North Greenwich.   A taxi rank or buses are available from North Greenwich Station, with bus journey times of between 15 and 20 minutes.

By bus:
Woolwich Arsenal is a large bus hub and most buses from surrounding areas stop on Plumstead Road, opposite the Royal Arsenal Development.  Click here for the Transport for London journey planner and see directions from train station.

By ferry:
Thames Clippers offer a direct service to key stops in central London and Dockland,  with the option of connection to other modes of transport. Royal Arsenal Riverside to The O2 takes just 8 minutes, and and to Canary Wharf just 23 minutes.  Click here for the Thames Clippers Ferry Timetable.

Parking:

Parking is located in the Warren Lane  Car park which is pay and display  - see link to Streetmap here.  It is around a 5 minute walk from the car park to the treatment room (see directions below). 

Please note: The car park is accessible from a left hand turn only from Beresford Street (A206), on your left hand side just after you pass the Waterfront Leisure Centre.  If you miss the turn off you will need to continue up Plumstead Road (A206) to the large roundabout and come back along Plumstead Road until you reach the roundabout by the Woolwich Ferry and come back on yourself.

The pay and display meters are green and located on the main road side of the car park.  The charges depend on the type of car you drive eg hybrid, 1.3L, 3L engine.  Please read sign on the meter for details. 

Please note: parking is at the discretion of the vehicle owner and you should be check the parking signs in each car park for restrictions as clampers patrol the site.

Directions:

Directions from the main car park:
It takes about 8 minutes to walk from the car park.  Come out of car park and go straight down Warren Lane Gate for approx 1- 2 minutes. You will come to Duke of Wellington Avenue road sign directly ahead of you. Continue straight past the sign, passing museum cafe bistro on your left.  Cross cartridge place and continue down Duke of Wellington Avenue for about 1-2 minutes,  towards the long single-story brick building with a blue clock tower (on your right hand side).  Underneath the blue clock tower you will see BodyWorkshop signage.  Enter through the glass doors and you will find the concierge.

Directions from the train station:
It takes around 10 minutes to walk from the train station.  Turn right out of the station and walk down Woolwich New Road for about 1 - 2 minutes.  When you reach Plumstead Road cross at the traffic lights and walk through the large black wrought iron gates.  You are now on No. 1 Street (paved pedestrian road) with the Dial Arch Pub on your right hand side.  Walk down No. 1 Street for about 3 minutes  and on the corner of No. 1 Street and Duke of Wellington Avenue  you will see the Museum cafe in front of you.  Turn right into Duke of Wellington Avenue.  Continue down Duke of Wellington Avenue for about 1-2 minutes,  towards the long single-story brick building with a blue clock tower (on your right hand side).  Underneath the blue clock tower you will see BodyWorkshop signage.  Enter through the glass doors and you will find the concierge.

Couture Food Hall
Couture Food Hall at the Royal Arsenal is a boutique cafe and delicatessen specialising in locally-sourced, artisan products.

The store has a relaxed seating area for customers to chill-out with a coffee whilst reading the papers and has a delicious range of cakes, muffins and brownies to tempt you.  Healthy options are also available to eat-in or take-away including sandwiches, toasted paninis, salads and freshly-made soup. 

The delicatessen stocks a wide range of handmade ready meals, organic bread and specialist olive oils as well as high-end groceries, fine wines, real ales and speciality lagers, cheeses & cured meats plus fresh fruit & vegetables. 

Open seven days a week, from 8am till late.

The Dial Arch - Youngs Pub
The new pub serves quality food, and an excellent range of wines and beers.  It features a dedicated restaurant area and gastro-style menu which includes traditional pub favourites such as fish & chips and steak & Young's Bitter pies, alongside seasonal specials, all freshly cooked on the premises.

The pub's leather sofas, luxurious fabrics, low-hanging chandelier-style lighting and wooden floors create a stylish yet intimate pub for drinking and dining, while exposed brickwork continues the heritage theme seen in many of the residential apartments.

Museum Café
The licensed Museum Café is open from 9.30am 7 days a week and is open until 10.00pm on Wednesday to Sunday with a three course menu. On Monday and Tuesday the Café is open until 5.00pm. 

Whether you are enjoying a meal in their tabled area or melting into their leather sofas with a coffee and newspaper, you will find a relaxing atmosphere waiting for you in the Café's listed building setting. During the day, and in the evening you they wish, customers can use the dedicated outdoor seating area to soak up the atmosphere of the historic Royal Arsenal.
